The Opportunity
Ever clicked something on a website and thought, "This should work differently"? Now's your chance to do something about it.
As a Website Product Tester, you'll be the first to explore new features on our campaign site, from interactive games like Two-Party Monopoly to volunteer sign-up flows and digital reward systems. Your feedback directly shapes the experience of thousands of supporters.
Being a Product Tester isn't just bug-hunting. It's helping build a campaign website that actually works for real people, and proving that grassroots campaigns can out-innovate the political establishment.
What You'll Do
Test New Features Before They Launch
- Review supporter and volunteer application processes on desktop and mobile
- Play through interactive games and educational content (yes, really)
- Test the Liberty Bucks coin reward system and redemption flow
- Check email signup forms, donation pages, and navigation
Hunt for Issues
- Identify layout bugs, broken links, and confusing user flows
- Test across different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) and devices
- Document problems clearly so our team can fix them fast
- Provide honest feedback on what worksβand what doesn't
Shape the Experience
- Complete short surveys after each testing session
- Share ideas for improving usability and engagement
- Help us understand what real users need vs. what developers assume
- Be the voice of everyday supporters in our design process
Stay Secure
- Use a dedicated test login (your personal info stays private)
- Access features in a safe testing environment
- Report any security concerns you notice
You Bring
Essential:
- Attention to detail β you notice when things are "off"
- Clear communication β you can describe what you found in simple terms
- Honest feedback β you're not afraid to say when something doesn't work
- Basic tech comfort β you can navigate websites and take screenshots
- Access to devices β ideally both desktop/laptop and mobile (phone or tablet)
Bonus (Not Required):
- Experience with user testing or QA
- Familiarity with different browsers and operating systems
- Understanding of web design or accessibility principles
- Prior experience with campaign websites or donation platforms
